Dr. Robert Nielsen BPE, DC
Chiropractor, Certified Provider Of Active Release Techniques®
Dr. Robert Nielsen obtained his Bachelor of Physical Education degree from the University of British Columbia and then went on to graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1990. Dr. Nielsen is a certified provider and lead instructor of Active Release Techniques® (ART). He is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment® (SFMA) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization® (DNS).
Dr. Nielsen enjoys racing triathlons and has represented Canada in his age group at multiple World Championships as well as competing at Ironman Canada and Ironman Hawaii. His experience in triathlon has given him invaluable insight on repetitive sports injuries but he also enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. He has also been a treatment provider to the CFL’s BC Lions since 1990.
Dr. Nielsen is a true local, having been born in Vancouver and now living in Burnaby. Besides triathlon, he also enjoys hockey and watching his kids play sports.
